Thanks for viewing this website of my designs. I haven’t been actively designing anything for 6 months, because I’ve been participating in a Discipleship Training School through the missions organization Youth with a Mission (YWAM). The experience has been life-changing! God is real and actively after his lost sheep. I kept a blog about what happened on my journey here: Hansons at YWAM

I’ve been getting back into the swing of designs and will post some of my new projects here.

Long-term, I am transforming my business to be missions-oriented. Most of my profits will now go to missions. I believe God has a heart for justice and mercy as well as bringing people out of poverty and living life to the full. This will be the focus of the missions we will support. Also, I realize that many missionaries do not have the resources to create a blog to update people so I will be creating blogs for select missionaries to keep their partners up-to-date and inspire fellow christians and non-christians alike.

Photo Graphics Speaks

Calvin Hanson, owner and design professional of Photo Graphics, will be speaking to Hillcrest High School seniors on January 8, 2009.

What are the benefits of joining a chamber?

• Advertising opportunities-if you are a business to business company, you have a list of potential customers at your fingertips in the members directory. Some chambers have banner advertising on their website and send out monthly newsletters with ad spots.
• Targeted Networking-There are weekly or monthly events for members only to get out and network with other business owners. Where else are you going to find potential customers gathering in one area?
• Member to member discounts-Because you are part of the chamber, you will have access to some very attractive discounts in many different industries.
• Discounts on major expenses-As a member, your chamber might have discounts on phone/internet service, office supplies, and insurance to name a few.
• Website traffic increase and search engine boost-Because the chamber will link to your website, you will receive traffic! The Chamber websites have all sorts of relevant content relating to business, so you should receive a modest boost in search results.
• Get active in the community-You can help your community grow which will trickle down to help your business grow. Customers like businesses who are involved in their community. Plus, if you are a home business, community activities get you out of the house and allows you to talk to people which is one of the best ways to gain business.
